Healthy Habits to Cultivate for Good Health

- begin your day with gratitude- even before getting out of bed, think of at least one thing you are grateful for
- drink a tall glass of water in the morning before eating or drinking anything else- (better yet, drink two!)
- do some simple stretches in the morning to wake up your body- massage your low back and neck
- eat something green every day
- eat lots of vegetables- both raw and cooked
- take a deep breath before eating to relax your belly
- chew your food well
- make time for cardio exercise
- eat healthy foods throughout the day and don't let yourself get wildly hungry!
- switch to whole grain breads and crackers when possible
- read labels
- eat a variety of nuts and seeds
- drink water!!
