Fun with Fermentation

Welcome to this upcoming series and exciting collaboration with my favorite orchard, Rose Hill Farm.
We gather in the beautiful Taproom at Rose Hill in Red Hook to make traditional, wild fermented foods.
I’ll be teaching you all of my tips and tricks to make your own delicious, immune boosting, digestive enhancing and vitamin packed ferments.
All classes are hands on and you will be making your very own ferments to take home and enjoy!
Advanced registration is a must so we can prepare for you. Each registration includes one draft pour (cider or beer) of your choice from the wonderful selection at the Rose Hill Taproom.

Come early to have lunch around the firepit or in the Taproom!

Make Your Own Wild Fermented Sauerkraut
Sunday, March 26th 3:30-5:30pm $65

Together, we will make traditional, wild fermented sauerkraut, packed with immune boosting probiotics, Vitamins C. We will have a selection of herbs and spices that you can add to enhance and personalize your creation. Each registrant will make their own jar of sauerkraut to take home and enjoy!

Make Your Own Fire Cider / Herb Infused Vinegar
Sunday, April 16 3:30-5:30 $65
Includes one draft pour (cider or beer) of your choice from the wonderful selection in the Rose Hill Taproom
Fire Cider is a favor packed, immune boosting vinegar and daily tonic to support your health all year long. Known to reduce inflammation, fire cider helps prevent or speed recovery with colds and flu, helps with aches and pains and support overall wellness (yes please!)
Take a daily shot or add a splash to some water or mineral water and sip. You can also add fire cider to your favorite olive oil to have a power packed dressing for your favorite veggies. Each registrant will make their own jar of fire cider to take home and enjoy!
